Getting instructions and going over safety.

Our mast sustained a little damage from hurricane Harvey. It has a hairline crack in it. The crack was starting to run, so today Dee harnessed up and with great tutelage from Len Barton, Dee was hoisted up the mast to drill a hole at the top of the crack to stop its progression. All went well and smooth. Fortunately Dee only had to go about 15 feet up off of the deck. Don’t think she would have liked going to the top. Maybe another time.

It was kinda fun. The view would have been great from the top, maybe next time.
